Overland Safari · Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serengeti in depth
Seven days travelling Tanzania by road, from the baobabs and elephants of Tarangire to two full days among the plains of the Serengeti.
The journey advances gradually toward the heart of northern Tanzania, crossing the Maasai steppe before entering Tarangire. From there it continues to the Ngorongoro Highlands and finally to the Serengeti, where two full days allow the safari to adapt to the movement of wildlife, with no need to rush the route.
The route itself is part of the experience: the landscape changes constantly, and opportunities appear to know another side of Tanzania, from highland communities to a visit to Mto wa Mbu and, on returning to Arusha, the Cultural Heritage Centre. A sunrise balloon safari over the Serengeti can also be added to contemplate the plains from above.
