Booking, payment and cancellation
Securing your journey
To secure your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required (40% for travel during the festive season, 20 December to 10 January). For select properties a deposit of 50% may apply, and will always be confirmed clearly within your quotation.
The remaining balance is due 97 days prior to arrival (127 days for festive season travel). For bookings made closer to departure, the full amount is payable at the time of confirmation.
All rates are quoted in USD. Bank transfer charges are the responsibility of the traveller, and services are confirmed once payment has cleared into Hodari's account.

Your safety, our priority
Travelling deep into the wilderness is part of what makes a safari unforgettable, and we take the responsibility of getting you there and back safely just as seriously as we take the adventure itself.
Every Hodari journey includes Flying Doctors AMREF emergency medical evacuation cover. Should a medical emergency arise anywhere on your safari, far from the nearest hospital, Flying Doctors AMREF will get you to the care you need. This is arranged for every guest, built into your journey with us. Cover and evacuation services are provided directly by Flying Doctors AMREF; Hodari facilitates your enrolment as part of your trip.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Hodari guests. Your policy must include cover for medical expenses and emergency hospitalisation, trip cancellation and curtailment, and loss of personal belongings.
Proof of valid travel insurance may be requested prior to or during your trip. Hodari cannot be held responsible for any medical, evacuation, cancellation or personal loss expenses arising from a guest's failure to secure adequate insurance cover.
