After a first night in Arusha, the journey continues by light aircraft straight to the Serengeti, where the safari begins on arrival. The route concentrates on Central Serengeti and its great plains, with time to observe elephants, large herds and predators in one of Africa's richest ecosystems.
From the Serengeti, the route continues to the Ngorongoro Highlands, with a visit to a Maasai community before descending into the crater at dawn. A carefully concentrated itinerary for those who want to experience Serengeti and Ngorongoro in five days, keeping road transfers to a minimum.
